Thoughtful Dots dimensional paint is not intended to replace regular acrylic paint, but rather to be used alongside it to add texture, dimension, and raised detail to your artwork.
I personally use regular acrylic paint for most of my base painting and then use Thoughtful Dots Dimensional Paint to create plump dots, swooshes, accents, highlights, and dimensional details on top.
